The environmental crisis is a crucial issue for Global Nomads. We fly frequently, drive long distances, and enjoy food from all over the world. • How can we reduce our carbon footprint without curtailing our globe-spanning travel? • Car-sharing, the electric car, biking—which is the best and most immediate alternative? • What can the U.S. learn from other countries such as Holland, Sweden, as well as China and India? • What are the cultural implications of our choices and how do they reflect shifts in global power? These are a few of the questions we’d like to address in our Green salon. There will be an open bar in Norwood’s private dining room from 7 – 9pm. The Salon is SOLD OUT! There will be no sales at the door, but you can still take part as we’re streaming the event live with FORA.tv .
